Account details: name, email, password hash, sign-in provider (e.g. Google) and preferences.
Content: recordings (audio, video, screen), transcripts, edits, artwork, show and episode information, comments on review links.
Technical data: session cookie, device and browser type, IP address (used for security, rate limits and approximate country), and recording diagnostics such as upload progress.
Listener data on published episodes: downloads are counted from a one-way hash of IP address, user agent and date, plus country and listening app. We do not build listener profiles.
To record, process, edit, render and publish your shows; to secure accounts and prevent abuse; to send service emails you can control (password resets, processing and publishing notifications); and to understand and improve the product in aggregate. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
If you join a recording as a guest, your name, voice and video are recorded on your device and uploaded to the host's account. The host controls that recording and decides whether to publish it; contact the host about its use. We process it on the host's behalf.
Cloudflare (hosting, storage, real-time connections and AI processing); email delivery (Resend); Google, only when you sign in with Google or connect YouTube; Anthropic, when Claude models process transcripts for AI features; and a payment processor once paid plans launch. They may process data only to provide their service to us.
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting a recording, show or your account removes the database records immediately and the media files from storage shortly after. Backups and logs expire on their own schedules. Hashed download records are kept for analytics.
You can access, correct, export and delete your data from your account page. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA) you may have further rights, including objecting to processing or appealing a decision. Email hello@louerable.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Data is processed in the United States and wherever our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards. We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and tokens, and access controls. PodcastDo is not intended for children under 16.
We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in, plus short-lived cookies during Google sign-in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
